SunWine is proud to introduce to the US Market the Haut de Lalande duo of, Vin de Pays de la cité de Carcassonne, produced by DMD. This Winery has been created By Pierre Degroote & Bernard Montariol in 1972 and has become one of the major actor in the production of Languedoc Roussillon Wines proposing a wide range of high quality products thanks to a 70 people crew including 4 enologists and it over 500 hectares of vines. Expert in producing high quality wines, DMD today's production is up to 650.000 cases and 800 000 BIBs (2,3,5,10 liters are available) using them most advanced technics. DMD wines are exported worldwide.

These two Wines and their brand ARE NOT SOLD IN THE US TODAY.

The ex cellar price is 2.80€ per Bottle.

Tasting The Chardonnay, Viognier,& Chasan fruits are very present in this wine and express themselves one after the other before melting on the final. The wine is elegant with good deal of character and complex aromas of melon and vanilla.

Very full on the palate the combination between Chardonnay and Viognier gives a wine very elegant.

The Chasan brings some acidity to this wine. Soft and excellent to taste as appetizer and with seafood, white meat or blue cheese.

Varietals 70% Syrah & 30% Merlot

Soil Limestone soil.

Vinification fermentation under temperature control. Long maceration (20 days) with punching of the cap regularly to extract structure and tannins.

Aged partly in stainless still tank for six months, and partly ion new French oak for six months (40% of the blending).

Tasting Really complex on first impression, good expression of the syrah with spices flavours, merlot gives cherry’s aromas.

Intense and elegant finish, with tinges of vanillia.
